Fabulous Sound Machines in the Barn | 8-19 April 2020 (not open Tuesday 14)

Over the coming Easter holidays the Barn at Charleston becomes a symphony of colour and sound that you create yourselves.

Fabulous Sound Machines invites you to explore the wonderful world of sound and colour through a collection of interactive musical installations like the Giant Bottle Organ, the Kaleidochord and the Mysterious Ear Gongs.

Chromatic Harmony is a walk-in instrument where your movement creates sound and washes of colour.

Your visit includes a workshop session with the creator, David Stevens. He will lead you through the various instruments to create ensembles of colour and music.

It is essential to book as space is limited and this is a participatory event so allow at least 30 minutes for your visit to explore all instruments and take a workshop.

Fantastic for families this is one exhibition where we WANT you to make a noise!
