Planting a Classic Cottage Garden
Monday 12th July
Since the times of Gertrude Jekyll and William Robinson, the charm and beauty of traditional Cottage Gardens has become loved throughout the world.
If you would like a garden brimming with all the old favourites, like lavender, roses and honeysuckle and buzzing with bees, join us for an inspirational day of planting design at Charleston.
Juliet Sargeant will explain the use and care of traditional plants, and introduce you to newer varieties that also give the cottage feeling.
We will look at classic planting combinations and learn how to stock a flower bed for a relaxed, but stunning summer display.
No design or gardening experience is necessary
