Join us for a one hour guided House tour.  In small groups of up to ten, discover the narrative behind Charleston’s rich history and explore our unique Bloomsbury interiors and varied collection with an expert guide.  After the tour you will have time to enjoy our Garden and grounds at leisure.

Up to ten rooms in the House are stewarded and you are invited to explore at your own pace. Entry is by timed ticket, and includes access to the Garden and grounds.

Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays are great for families or visitors with children. Join us for free family art activities on the first Sunday of every month.  

For Sunday 20 & 27 May (during the Charleston Festival) House entry is by Guided Tour. Tickets for these dates are available here.

The sisters Vanessa Bell and Virginia Woolf were two of the most influential women at the centre of modernism in the early 20th century.  Each became a renowned pioneer in their respective realms of art and writing.  During this intimate extended tour, you will explore in detail the lives of two talented sisters and discover how their relationship impacted upon their remarkable careers.
